Farnham Road Practice - Charity of the Year 2018
The Practice has decided to raise money for one charity in 2018 instead of three or four over the year. All staff were invited to take part in a survey and choose a charity. Out of 16 charities that were nominated the winner was the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.
Throughout the year all of the staff will be taking part in various fundraising activities. The Gauntlet Games, cake sales and many other events will take place between January and December 2018.
If you would like to donate some money to this fantastic charity then please speak to a member of staff or visit our just giving page at:

Movember – November 2014
The Movember Foundation is the leading global organisation committed to changing the face of men’s health. They achieve this by challenging men to grow moustaches during Movember (the month formerly known as November) to spark conversation and raise funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems. Taking part can mean many things to many people, but if something’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right. It would be simple to just sit back and do nothing, but it would be admirable to sign up and do something significant.
We chose Movember for our latest charity event at the Farnham Road Practice. Unfortunately though we could not persuade any of the males here to grow a moustaches so the ladies took matters into their own hands and decided that they would not shave/wax their legs for the month of November. In total 14 staff took part, Through sponsorship and a cake sale on 28th November we managed to raise over £500 for this great cause. Thank you to those who took part, and those who sponsored us to do so. Another great team effort.
