Changes to Remote Monitoring Service – November 2025
Posted on:
From 3 November, patients who use the remote monitoring service to receive support of their long term conditions may get a text message asking them to download and install a new app called Luscii.
This is because the platform used to support patients is changing. The old Docobo platform is being switched off and so patients must move over.
What happens on the day of transfer
- Residents will receive a text message or an email from Luscii that will ask them to download the Luscii app. This has the same safeguards as the original app.
- Not all patients will download and start using the Luscii app on the day of transfer – it may take several months for all patients to transfer across.
- The remote monitoring team will continue to monitor both platforms for several months.
- This is an NHS supported update. You can ask a family member or carer to help download the app. If you need more support, call the remote monitoring team on 03000 770 006
