If you have an urgent medical need where you feel you need to be seen today or next working day, please phone us on 01753 520 917 and our reception staff will do our best to help you.

For some conditions, a pharmacy can see you more quickly and if suitable we will direct you there. Before you ask for an appointment, please check if you have one of the conditions suitable for Pharmacy First. These pharmacies could see you and issue prescription medicine if needed without seeing a GP first.

For repeat prescription requests, please use the NHS App.

Out of Hours and Emergencies

111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals.

They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please dial 999.

Our Performance

One of the things we want to do is be more transparent about the services we provide and how we compare with the national average.

In the last month we have data for (September 2025):

  • 58.3% of patient appointments were with a GP. This is better than the national average (45.0%).
  • 5.1% did not attend their booked appointment. This is worse than the national average (4.2%).
  • 94.8% of appointments were given within 2 weeks. This is better than the national average (81.7%).

Getting the best out of your GP

This is a new guide from NHS England that tells you what to expect from your general practice (GP). It also points out how you can help them, so you get the best from the National Health Service (NHS).

At the bottom of the page there are links to the guide in other languages.
