Teaching Practice

The Practice is approved by Health Education England as a training practice for doctors, practice nurses, clinical pharmacists and physician’s associates. We also help in the training of medical students.

Doctors in training are always supervised by a senior, experienced doctor. From time to time our trainees sit in with doctors as part of their education. You will always be asked for your consent before a doctor in training or other trainee sits in on your consultation and you always have the right to decline.

You may be asked if your consultation may be videotaped to be used as part of the trainee’s assessment and evaluation process. Please note that all trainee GPs are already fully qualified doctors and are undertaking additional training to become a GP. You have the right to decline being videotaped.
